The 251.31ft Custom expedition motor yacht ‘Yersin’ was built by Piriou in France at their Concarneau, Brittany shipyard , she was delivered to her owner in 2015.The yacht’s interior has been designed by Owner.

ACCOMMODATION

Yersin’s interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 18 guests overnight in 8 cabins, comprising a master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 2 double cabins and 4 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 24 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Powered by 4 Caterpillar (C32) 2,011hp diesel-electric engines, 2 Caterpillar (C18) diesel-electric engines and propelled by her twin azipods Motor yacht Yersin is capable of a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 11 knots. With her 350,000 litres fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 15,000 nautical miles at 11 knots. Her water tanks store around 50,000 litres of fresh water.

Francois Fiat’s luxury yacht Yersin was blessed by the Vicar General of Monaco during a naming ceremony that was attended by HSH Prince Albert II in Monaco.

Commissioned by the head of the Fiat brand, Yersin was built by French yard  Piriou Shipyard and delivered at the start of 2015.

This is the first yacht from Piriou, founded in 1965, which specialises in fishing vessels, tugs, military and commercials vessels. The steel-hull, ice-classed Yersin has been built at its facility in Concarneau, Brittany.
