Project Light By combining the nearly 50 years of time-tested engineering experience at Fincantieri Yachts with the cutting-edge style of Nauta Yachts, it is no wonder that a new relationship between conventional superyacht design and its environment has been re-tooled in their newest project creation, Light.

With awareness to the importance and interdependence of light, balance, and lines, the Nauta and Fincantieri design teams have blurred the boundaries between outdoor and indoor living spaces, creating extraordinary outdoor living and breathtaking vistas, from both inside and outside of Light.

Her innovative 80 meter hull has been thoroughly tested at the Maritime Research Institute of Netherlands (Marin) where her underwater lines and bulbous plumb bow have shown excellent speed and seaworthy qualities.

Listed below are the general arrangement elements for each deck of this superyacht, the details of which are still being considered by the able team of Fincantieri and Nauta.

Bridge Deck: The Bridge Deck is dedicated to a spacious bridge that guarantees the best visibility for the Captain. Aft of the bridge is a Helipad.

Owner’s Deck: The Owner’s Deck, or Upper Deck, is fully dedicated to the Owner. The Owner’s Suite provides an extraordinary forward-facing 270 degree exterior view, a large terrace, a private gym, studio/library, and wardrobe.

From the terrace, the owner has access to a private “beach” area where a spectacular flush-with-the-deck pool can be surrounded by sun beds and sofas.

Aft of the Owner’s Deck also features the beautiful transparent and fully exposed sky lounge “dialogues” and a 130 square meter open deck aft of the lounge.

Main and Aft Decks: The Main Deck starts aft with a massive 240 square meter open air space which, besides being an impressive “reception” area when first boarding, is designed for lounging, sunbathing, “al fresco” dining, as well as entertaining for cocktail or dinner parties.

The Main Deck features six guest suites, each with their own panoramic views. Also on the Main Deck is the Main Saloon with continuous glass panels, intended to fully exploit the sea view while dining, socializing or relaxing. A focal point of the main deck is the circular stairway with a transparent lift in its centre that conveniently links to the other decks.

From the Main Deck there is access to the Aft Deck and the spectacular “Beach Club.” The Aft Deck includes the sea lounge and wellness centre. The swimming platform is dedicated to water games and diving activities. Boarding Light from the beaches is safely provided by two side shell doors aft.

Lower and Under Lower Decks: On the Lower Deck and Under-Lower Deck there are accommodations for 22 crew and staff, the galley, crew and officers lounges, crew lift and sea level lobby and shell door, double level engine room, workshop, chilled garbage storage, fridge and freezer rooms, storeroom, laundry and ironing room, spare parts storage etc.
