The 74m motor yacht Naia will be available for charter in Mediterranean this summer.
Specifically built for worldwide cruising and exploration, with a 10,000 nautical mile range at 12 knots and a commercially certified helipad, there are few corners of the world’s oceans which are out of reach.
With over 880 square metres of luxurious accommodation across four decks, M/Y Naia has five guest suites and a penthouse owner’s deck with 360 degree views, office, and private terraces forward and aft. The helideck, rated for an EC 130, doubles up as a huge sundeck with spa pool and state-of-the-art gym and observation lounge forward. Whether guests want to entertain or relax, the bridge deck caters for all tastes, with a dining area and bar and a large saloon which converts into a cinema with 120-inch screen.
Naia is available for charter at weekly rates starting from Summer > EUR 580000 (High) – EUR 525000 (Low)

NAIA (ex. PEGASO) is the “game changer” – originally built to observe life below the sea – without compromising either comfort or luxury. An ultimate adventure vessel with a nautical range of 8,500 miles at 12 knots and over 880m2 of accommodation over four decks including seven guest suites and a penthouse Master Deck with 360° views, office and private terraces forward and aft, NAIA is designed to leave guests wanting for nothing.

The yacht has a warm and relaxed interior by Mark Berryman that makes superb use of distressed oak and walnut for a soft natural ambiance. En-suite guest and VIP cabins have teak-decked showers; a private elevator takes guests up to the amazing Master Deck; there is an eight-person spa pool, state-of-the-art gym, media lounge and a stunning observation lounge forward.

Chartering NAIA, guests will be able to enjoy the finest pleasures of a yachting holiday while simultaneously fostering the wealth of the ocean.

Launched by the Freire Shipyard in Vigo, Spain, NAI holds many outstanding features, one of which is that the magnificent expedition yacht is capable of traversing 10,000 nautical miles, which is the equivilant of sailing from Spain to Australia and back without refueling. She is equipped with enough engine power to reach a maximum of 17 knots with a capacity for 32 people, including crew and scientists.

The stunning expedition and research vessel is equipped with a 9 metre long submarine, allowing six people to dive up to 165 metres deep. The sub was built at an Italian Shipyard in Trieste and is kept aboard the vessel in a 150 metre square hangar. The research sub can reach a surface speed of 8kts and a submerged speed of 6kts and is powered by electric propulsion.

NAIA’s dedicated owners deck covers 120 square metres and has had a house built in one of the upper decks. Son of the owner Patrick Burillo attended the ceremony alongside the awaited visit of Jean-Michel Cuosteau, son of legendary investigator sailor Jacques Cousteau to see the magnificent marine research vessel hit the water.

With a beam of 13m, the sheer size of NAIA will allow massive equipment and accomodation areas, crew and scientists are accomodated in a 328 square metre area with massive areas dedicated for scientific equipment and a seperate laboratory.

Pegasus 9 metre submarine. NAIA will have a cruising speed of 17 knots and a range of 10.000 nautical miles.

The steel hulled motor yacht, Freire hull number 700, is designed by the British studio H2 Yacht Design with naval architecture by BMT Nigel Gee and Associates.

NAIA is the largest yacht ever built in Spain. Other large yachts that have been built in Spain are the 64 metre Adix, the 61 metre Absinthe and the 55 metre Elena. Elena was delivered by Marin LuxurYachts in 2009 and later this year the company will launch a 60 metre superyacht for a Spanish owner.
