The 180.45ft 55m Steel motor yacht motor yacht ‘Azamanta’ was built by Heesen in Netherlands at their Oss shipyard , she was delivered to her owner in 2015. The yacht’s interior has been designed by Sinot Yacht Design.

ACCOMMODATION
Azamanta’s interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests overnight in 6 cabins, comprising a master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 14 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

CONSTRUCTION & DIMENSIONS
Azamanta features a full displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. She was built to Lloyds Register classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant.

Azamanta yacht is equipped with an ultra-modern stabilization system which reduces roll motion effect and results in a smoother more enjoyable cruising experience underway. This luxury yacht is also fitted with ‘at anchor stabilisers’ which work at anchor, increasing on-board comfort when the yacht is stationary, particularly in rough waters.

PERFORMANCE
Powered by 2 MTU (12V 4000M53) 1,850hp diesel engines and propelled by her twin screw propellers Motor yacht Azamanta is capable of a top speed of 16.5 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 100,000 fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,500 nautical miles at 13 knots. Her water tanks store around 25,000 of fresh water.

OWNER
Built to meet the owner’s brief for a yacht to travel the world with family and friends, Azamanta has an ice-reinforced steel hull. She also stands out with a gold-hued hull colour. Heesen sold its first 55 metre FDHF yacht, hull No YN 17255, in February 2013

AZAMANTA, whose Fast Displacement Hull Form was developed by Van Oossanen in collaboration with Heesen Yachts in-house naval architects, exceeded the contractual speed by 0.4 knots, reaching a top speed of 16.9 knots. Propelling around 600 tonnes of steel and aluminium at 15 knots with only 1650kW of power, the yacht has proved to be a benchmark in terms of efficiency.

The bold exterior design by Omega Architects is characterised by chiselled, sharp lines. The superstructure is adorned by “the shark tooth”, a smart design signature on the overhang of the wheelhouse that lends AZAMANTA a powerful personality. Vertical windows – new to the Heesen Yachts’s aesthetics – and numerous glass insertions in the bulwarks allow more natural light to flood the interior and significantly improve the indoor/outdoor connection, offering great views of the sea even when seated in the sky lounge.
