Ownership and Legacy:

Triumph is owned by Sarah & Chris Dawson, the founder of The Range, a renowned homeware retailer. This remarkable superyacht represents the epitome of his passion for luxury and offers an extraordinary platform for creating lasting memories with family and friends.

Step aboard Triumph, the pinnacle of luxury and performance, and embark on an unforgettable yachting experience that surpasses all expectations. With its timeless design, lavish amenities, and impeccable craftsmanship, Triumph stands as a testament to Benetti’s unwavering commitment to excellence in yacht construction.

Much like its owner, a former motorcycle racing enthusiast from the ’70s, the Triumph superyacht made a striking impression at the recent Monaco Yacht Show. This exquisite vessel, built by Benetti and spanning an impressive 65.4 meters (215 feet), stands as one of the latest creations to emerge from the renowned Italian shipyard. Boasting exceptional features and breathtaking design, the Triumph superyacht captivates all who encounter it.

One of the most remarkable aspects of the Triumph superyacht is the integration of the owner’s personal collection, adding a unique touch to the onboard experience. A 1959 Bonneville Triumph motorcycle, carefully preserved as a museum piece, takes center stage in the upper salon, paying homage to the owner’s passion for motorcycles from the ’70s.

While the vintage motorcycle serves as a captivating display, the yacht itself is fully utilized for extensive voyages. Since taking delivery in the previous year’s summer, the owner, accompanied by family and loved ones, has embarked on numerous unforgettable journeys, spending months at sea, exploring the world’s most alluring destinations.

“The owner stepped aboard in early July 2021 and didn’t disembark until September,” shared Captain Sean Read. “He then spent the first three months of this year on the yacht, as well as most of August, so he’s truly making the most of the vessel.”

The journey to the completion of the Triumph superyacht was an exciting adventure in itself. After an initial owner from Asia withdrew just months before its scheduled completion, an opportunity for a swift turnaround arose. “I received a call stating that the owner was taking the boat, and we had six months of interior work with just two months left for operational preparations,” revealed Read. “We seized the chance and swiftly assembled a dedicated crew.”

In September of the previous year, the yacht transitioned from a private to a commercial registry, opening its doors to a wide range of charter guests. These guests have included multi-generational families and groups of millennials, all enticed by the vessel’s luxurious amenities spread across its five decks and expansive outdoor spaces. Triumph offers an onboard spa with a skilled masseuse, a fully equipped gym, and a helideck. The accommodation comfortably accommodates 12 guests in four double cabins on the lower deck and a generous VIP cabin on the forward main deck—a location typically reserved for the master suite.

On the level above, the master apartment spans an impressive 1,400 square feet (130 square meters). It features an adjoining study, a private outdoor terrace measuring 860 square feet (80 square meters) with sun loungers, and a marble-clad bathroom complete with a sauna. Both the VIP and master suites boast full-sized bathtubs and private lounges, providing a true sanctuary of relaxation.

The Triumph’s interior, designed by Green & Mingarelli, creates an open and inviting space ideal for socializing. Silk and wool carpets reminiscent of shifting sand patterns complement Amani marble, fur finishes, and Lalique glass accents. While most of the interior modifications from the original specifications were purely cosmetic, some structural alterations were made. For instance, a glass dividing wall in the VIP en suite was changed from transparent to frosted, thanks to Lady Green’s discerning eye.

“Upon seeing it, Lady Green decided, ‘No, that needs to change,'” recounted Read. “Since the owner and Lady Green are friends, he was more than happy to have her take the initiative.”

When it comes to artwork, the owner personally selected favorite pieces by contemporary British photographer David Yarrow, adding a touch of modernity and artistic expression to the yacht’s interior. During one charter, a group of high-end models recognized their peers in the Yarrow artwork, further enhancing the appreciation of the onboard aesthetics.

The Triumph superyacht boasts a carefully selected crew, handpicked by Captain Sean Read based on his previous experiences on three other yachts. The crew includes former tennis and rugby players, allowing the yacht to offer fitness-themed charters. Guests can engage in hardcore circuit training sessions or indulge in morning yoga sessions on the sun deck before unwinding in the Jacuzzi. The crew’s dedication to providing exceptional service ensures that every guest’s experience on board the Triumph superyacht is nothing short of extraordinary.

The main salon of the Triumph superyacht offers a cozy ambiance with a drop-down cinema screen and projector, providing an ideal setting for evening entertainment. It also serves as the owner’s preferred space for conducting business Zoom calls, taking advantage of the abundance of natural light that fills the room. Another favorite area on board is the lower deck beach club, which seamlessly transitions from a lounge during the day to a vibrant night club after sunset. When the starboard drop-down sea terrace is open, it bathes the space in natural light, creating a captivating atmosphere. Additionally, a custom floating platform by Superyacht Tenders & Toys extends the beach club area, offering even more space for relaxation and enjoyment.

To cater to water sports enthusiasts, the Triumph superyacht is equipped with a Wally 48 chase boat, which provides a seamless and independent experience as it is driven rather than towed. It also features a custom-built Castoldi Jet 25 tender and a Castoldi Jet 14 rescue boat, both housed in spacious tender garages.

The exterior design of the Triumph superyacht, skillfully crafted by Cassetta Yacht Designers, has received accolades for its aesthetics. The sleek lines and attention to detail create a visually stunning vessel that turns heads wherever it goes. The yacht’s chef has also been recognized for culinary excellence, winning an award for his delectable dishes at the Antigua Charter Yacht Show. With the owner’s unwavering enthusiasm for his vessel, the Triumph superyacht stands as a testament to the dedication and passion of all those involved in its creation.

In terms of specifications, the Benetti-built Triumph superyacht is powered by MTU engines, enabling a maximum speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. It boasts a range of over 4,000 nautical miles, allowing for extensive exploration capabilities and the ability to reach far-reaching destinations with ease.

The owner of the Triumph superyacht is Chris Dawson, the founder of The Range—a renowned retail company offering a wide range of homeware and DIY products. With an estimated value of $80 million and annual running costs of approximately $8 million, the Triumph superyacht represents the epitome of luxury and craftsmanship. Benetti Yachts, founded in 1873 and renowned as one of the oldest yacht builders globally, has once again demonstrated its expertise in creating custom-made motor yachts that exceed expectations. Notable Benetti projects include IJE, Luminosity, and Lionheart.

Giorgio M. Cassetta, an Italian architect and designer, collaborated with Benetti’s in-house design team and Pierluigi Ausonio to create the elegant exterior of the Triumph superyacht. Cassetta’s designs are celebrated for their innovation and distinctive style, making him a sought-after name in the luxury yacht industry. Some of his remarkable projects include the Benetti Luminosity, Spectre, and, of course, the Triumph superyacht.

Step aboard the Triumph superyacht, where luxury and performance converge, and embark on an unparalleled yachting experience that will create lasting memories. With its timeless design, lavish amenities, and impeccable craftsmanship, the Triumph superyacht stands as a testament to the dedication and commitment to excellence in yacht construction. Prepare to be captivated by its elegance, indulged by its luxurious features, and enthralled by the boundless possibilities that await on the open sea.
