Lürssen, the renowned German yacht builder, recently unveiled the magnificent 122-meter superyacht Project JAG, also known as Kismet, from its Schacht-Audorf facility. This extraordinary superyacht was originally purchased during the Monaco Yacht Show in 2019.

122m Lürssen superyacht Kismet delivered!

Previously known as Jag, this magnificent vessel has been delivered to her owner after her launch in August 2023.

Built for an experienced owner, Kismet boasts a six-deck exterior designed by Nuvolari Lenard and an eclectic interior created by Reymond Langton Design.

She marks the third collaboration between Lürssen, the client, and long-time owner’s representatives Kyle and Gerry Fultz.

In the tradition of Lürssen’s previous iconic projects like Phoenix 2 and Whisper, she features the elongated bowspirit, with a jaguar figurehead hugging the underside of her bow.

Highlights onboard Kismet include a two-level open-plan entrance area adorned with sweeping video walls, a Nemo cinema on the lower deck featuring a 150-inch television, and an underwater seating area. \

Across a roomy 4,900 GT volume, the superyacht is capable of accommodating as many as 20 guests, while living quarters are also provided for 40 crew members, including her captain.

Eight or nine staterooms provide stylish sleeping conditions for Kismet’s guests, with her master suite occupying two decks, boasting a fireplace, skylight, and his-and-hers bathrooms.

The remaining staterooms range from comfortable twin staterooms to double staterooms.

Among Kismet’s most standout features is her large swimming pool situated on the aft deck, as well as the main deck dining area flanked with large windows for meal times against a stunning backdrop.

Furthermore, a spa complete with a sauna, hammam, and cryotherapy chamber, along with a yoga studio equipped with a juice bar, exudes a Balinese-inspired approach to tranquillity.

Designed by the esteemed Nuvolari Lenard, with naval architecture by Lürssen, Project JAG showcases a stunning 17.8-meter beam, promising a spacious interior capable of hosting up to 20 guests in 11 lavish staterooms. The interior design, meticulously crafted for ultimate luxury and comfort, was the work of Reymond Langton Design. A highly skilled crew of 40 ensures that guests enjoy a seamless and pampered experience throughout their voyage.

Project JAG is powered by robust MTU engines, granting her a maximum speed of 20 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots. With a remarkable range of over 3,000 nautical miles, this superyacht is ideal for extended journeys.

The proud owner of Project JAG is Shahid Khan, a Pakistani-American entrepreneur and business magnate known for founding Flex-N-Gate, a prominent global supplier of automotive components. Shahid Khan is also the owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars in the NFL and Fulham Football Club in the English Premier League. He has a tradition of naming his yachts “Kismet,” so it’s likely that ‘Project JAG’ will be rebranded as “Kismet” upon its completion.

This remarkable vessel is estimated to be valued at $360 million, with annual operating costs approximated at around $36 million. The final price of a yacht can vary significantly based on factors like size, age, luxury features, and the materials and technology employed in its construction.

In 2021, the world got its first glimpse of Jag when its hull and superstructure were launched at Lürssen Yachts’ facility in Rendsburg, Germany. Just yesterday, the yacht made preparations for its grand unveiling.
