Built in steel and aluminum by Heesen, Asya was launched in 2015 as the second hull in the Dutch yard’s restyled 47-meter full displacement class, with exterior design by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects. She features a Heesen hallmark “pelican” bow with traditional lines and continuous glass windows.

Accommodation: Asya can sleep up to 12 guests in five cabins 🛏️, comprised of a full-beam owner’s suite, two doubles, and two twin cabins each with an additional Pullman berth. Heesen emphasized simplicity in the yacht’s interior, designed by the award-winning London-based studio Bannenberg & Rowell. Her décor features fresh gloss white lacquer paired with bleached wenge and maccassar ebony.

Main Saloon: The main saloon features a large lounge with sofas and coffee tables to port and starboard 🛋️, a formal dining table forward 🍽️, and a library-like space framed by book niches, some protected by colored-glass doors and underlined by polished stainless-steel details.

Upper Saloon: The upper saloon provides a more informal setting for guests to relax with two semi-circular sofas and a round games table 🎲. In the evening 🌇, the room can be turned into a cinema complete with a bar 🍹 and wine room concealed behind a door.

Exterior: The restyling of the 47-meter platform included a significant change to the housing of the rescue tender in an enclosed bay in front of the wheelhouse, offering a cleaner exterior.

Performance: Power comes from twin MTU 8V 4000 M63 diesel engines delivering a top speed of 15 knots ⚓ and a range of 4,000Nm at 12 knots.
